Genuine BRP Evinrude Johnson Thermostat Cover O-Ring - Part Number: 0331188

  

A genuine BRP rubber O-ring used to seal the thermostat cover or cooling-water cover on selected Evinrude and Johnson two-stroke outboards.

  

The O-ring prevents cooling water from leaking around the thermostat-cover joint and maintains the pressure required to circulate water through the cylinder-head cooling passages.

🔌 Function

  

The O-ring seals the thermostat cover so cooling water is directed through the thermostat and cylinder-head passages without external leakage.

  

Common signs of failure:
