🔌 Function

  

The stator generates AC electrical output beneath the flywheel. It provides ignition charge voltage for the power pack and charging current for the regulator / rectifier and battery system.

  

Common signs of failure:

• Battery discharging while running

• Tachometer instability caused by charging-system faults
