A genuine Volvo Penta heat-shield support washer used in the injector and heat-shield mounting stack on 30- and 40-series indirect-injection diesel engines. The part is installed at every injector position and must be assembled in the sequence shown in the engine fuel-system arrangement. Four are normally required for a complete 30-series engine and six for a complete 40-series engine. The heat shield, waved washer, injector washer and support washer are separate service parts and should not be interchanged.
