Although commonly described as a high-pressure pump, 15600-90J00, 15600-90J01 and 5033705 identify the complete VST assembly. The replaceable internal electric high-pressure pump is Suzuki number 15200-90J00.

🔌 Function

  

The VST receives fuel from the low-pressure supply pump, controls the fuel level through the float and needle valve, removes vapour and feeds the internal high-pressure pump that supplies the injector rail.

  

Common signs of failure:

  

• Engine loses power or stalls as throttle is increased

• High-pressure fuel pump does not prime or produces low pressure

• Engine restarts only after cooling or after the primer bulb is operated

• Fuel leaks from the separator, hoses or drain area

• Restricted internal filter or sticking float causes lean running or flooding
