# 20378934 Fuse | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

## 🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta red 10-amp micro blade fuse used in engine cable-harness and fuse-panel circuits. It is rated for low-voltage vehicle electrical systems and is confirmed in the TAD734GE cable and fuse arrangement.

## 🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

- Volvo Penta TAD734GE

- **Engine Family:** TAD

## ⚙️ Key Features

- 10 A current rating
- Red micro-blade fuse format
- Nominal voltage rating up to 32 V
- Protects the assigned engine-control or accessory circuit
- Engine type: 12 V or 24 V Volvo Penta electrical systems

## 🔌 Function

Opens the electrical circuit when current exceeds the 10 A rating, protecting the harness and connected components.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Fuse element visibly open
- Repeated fuse failure
- Loss of the protected circuit
- Heat damage at the fuse holder
- Corroded or loose blade terminals

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Always fit the same type and rating as the fuse that failed — a higher rating protects nothing and puts the load on the cable instead
- Find out why the fuse blew before fitting another; a fuse that goes again immediately is reporting a short or an overloaded circuit, not a faulty fuse
- Isolate the battery before working in a fuse box, and pull fuses with the correct puller rather than pliers
- Check the holder as well as the fuse — a corroded or slack holder overheats, discolours the fuse body and causes intermittent faults
- Keep the fuse box lid and its seals in place so the box stays dry, and carry spares of the ratings your engine uses
