# 20502268 Fuel Pipe | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

## 🔧 Product Description

Formed fluid or air-transfer component used in the low-pressure fuel supply, return and injection-pump connection system. It preserves the original routing, connection geometry and operating clearance.

## 🚤 Compatibility

- **HP Range:** Approximately 300 HP
- **Year Range:** Approximately late 1990s-2010s, depending on engine and installation

## ⚙️ Key Features

- Genuine Volvo Penta formed fuel pipe from the Fuel System group
- 0.326 kg
- Pre-formed to the original routing and connection geometry for the low-pressure supply, return and injection-pump connections
- No engine application list is published against this number, so identify it from drawing

## 🔌 Function

Carries fuel between the low-pressure circuit connections - supply, return or injection-pump feed - holding it in a pre-formed run that keeps clearance from the surrounding engine components.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Diesel smell or a wet film around one of the unions
- Hard starting, hunting or a stall under load as air is drawn in at a loose joint
- A polished rub mark where the pipe has been touching a bracket or another component
- On strip-down, a cracked flare or a split at one of the bends
- Sealing faces at the ends found scored, distorted or corroded

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Renew the sealing washers or O-rings at the unions rather than reusing them
- Do not reshape a pipe to make it fit - a re-bent pipe work-hardens and fatigues at the bend
- Bleed the low-pressure fuel circuit after fitting

## 📦 Condition

- Genuine Volvo Penta part
- Brand new
- Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
