# 21056638 O-Ring | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

## 🔧 Product Description

Brand-new genuine Volvo Penta o-ring manufactured to the specified material, cross-section and sealing geometry for use in the Volvo Penta TAD550GE/TAD560VE turbocharger and cooling connection. It is intended to be installed on clean, undamaged mating surfaces and matched by exact part number to prevent leakage or pressure loss.

## 🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

- Volvo Penta TAD550GE
- Volvo Penta TAD551GE
- Volvo Penta TAD560VE
- Volvo Penta TAD561VE

- **Engine Family:** TAD

## ⚙️ Key Features

- O-ring for the turbocharger and cooling connection on TAD550GE and TAD560VE engines
- 0.003 kg
- Listed for 4 applications

## 🔌 Function

Seals the joint between the two mating parts, filling its groove under compression so pressure cannot escape past the faces.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Seeping or dripping at the joint
- Pressure or boost loss at the connection
- Ring found flattened, nipped or taking a permanent set on removal
- Ring found hardened, cracked or swollen
- Groove found dirty or scored so the ring cannot seat

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Clean the groove and check both faces before assembly - most repeat leaks here are surface damage, not the ring
- V-clamp 21056629 clamps the same joint and is the next thing to check if the leak comes back with a new ring
