# 21087582 Grille | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

## 🔧 Product Description

A genuine Volvo Penta companion cooling-package grille for TAD732GE and TAD733GE engines in the early radiator/intercooler installation. It works with grille 21087577 to guard the cooling pack and fan opening. The two grilles have different positions and geometry and should not be assumed interchangeable.

## 🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

- Volvo Penta TAD732GE EDC4
- Volvo Penta TAD733GE EDC4

- **Engine Family:** TAD

## ⚙️ Key Features

- Companion grille in the early TAD732GE/TAD733GE cooling package
- Position-specific frame and mounting-hole arrangement
- Allows designed fan airflow while guarding the cooling core
- Protects radiator and intercooler fins from impact and debris
- Must be matched to the original cooling-package serial range
- Engine type: D7-series turbocharged generator diesel with packaged radiator/intercooler

## 🔌 Function

Guards the cooling-package face and fan area while retaining the open area needed for unrestricted cooling airflow.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Distortion causing fan or shroud contact
- Broken or elongated mounting holes
- Rattling caused by loose fasteners
- Restricted airflow from debris or damaged mesh
- Corrosion around the frame and mounting points

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Clear debris, salt and oily deposits from the grille and from the space behind it whenever it is off — a partly blocked grille restricts the airflow it exists to pass
- Check that the grille locates fully in its aperture and that all its clips and fasteners are present, as a partly retained grille will vibrate and wear its mountings
- Tighten fasteners into plastic or thin sheet gently, enough to hold the grille without distorting or cracking it
- Refit the grille before the engine is run; as well as passing air it guards against contact with what sits behind it
