## 🛠️ Service Notes

-   Work clean and cap or plug both the line and its ports as soon as they are open — anything that gets into an oil line ends up at a bearing or in the turbocharger
-   Renew the sealing washers, O-rings or gaskets at each end rather than reusing them, and start unions by hand so the seal is not loaded sideways
-   Do not bend or reshape a line to make it reach; a line strained into place fatigues and cracks at the union
-   Refit every clip and support bracket in its original position — an unsupported oil line chafes and fails through vibration
-   After fitting, check oil level, run the engine and check the unions for leaks and the oil pressure for normal reading, then check again once hot
