## 🔧 Product Description

A heavy-duty positive-displacement gear pump for the DH10A lubrication system. The pump draws oil from the sump through the suction pipe, traps it between precision gears and the housing, and delivers pressurised oil to the main galleries, piston cooling, camshaft and turbocharger circuits.

## 🛠️ Service Notes

-   Work clean: the pump and the whole lubrication circuit must be free of debris, and if the old pump failed, flush the system and renew the oil and filter before running
-   Renew the gaskets, O-rings and seals on the pump's joint faces and pick-up, and check the pick-up and any strainer or screen is clear
-   Prime the pump with clean engine oil on assembly so it picks up straight away, and turn it by hand to confirm it is free
-   Fit the drive to the pump exactly as the manual describes, and check gear or rotor clearances against the figures given for your engine before closing up
-   Tighten the pump and its pipework to the workshop manual figures, then confirm oil pressure comes up promptly on first start and shut down at once if it does not
