## ⚙️ Key Features

- Correct factory artwork and dimensions
- Marine-resistant adhesive backing
- Suitable for the original mounting surface
- Direct replacement where part number 21233980 is specified
- Engine type: Volvo Penta engine, drive or control component

## 🔌 Function

Provides the original equipment identification, warning or appearance marking.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Fading or discolouration
- Peeling edges
- Scratched or unreadable text
- Adhesive failure
- Decal removed during panel refinishing

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Clean and degrease the area before fitting — wax, polish, salt film or oil will stop a decal bonding and it will lift at the edges within a season
- Apply in dry, mild conditions to a surface that is neither cold nor hot to the touch; adhesive will not key properly to a cold or damp panel
- Position it dry first and mark the location, then peel the backing progressively and work the decal down from one side with a squeegee or clean cloth so air is pushed out ahead of it
- Leave it undisturbed to bond before washing the area, and afterwards keep pressure-washer jets away from the edges
