-   Lubricate on assembly with the oil or grease specified for that part of the engine or drive, and follow the manual if it calls for the bore to be checked or sized after fitting
-   Do not soak a self-lubricating bushing in solvent or degreaser, and keep sealant and thread lock off the running surface
