## 🔌 Function

-   Lay the contents out and identify every item against the assembly as it comes apart, so nothing is left over at the end
-   Use all the new parts supplied and discard the old ones, even where an old item still looks serviceable; the kit is packaged as a complete replacement for what it covers
-   While access is open, clean and inspect the mating parts that are not in the kit — new seals, gaskets or wearing parts fitted to a worn housing, shaft or face will not last
-   Tighten, set and adjust to the figures given in the workshop manual for your engine, and renew any single-use fasteners or locking devices the kit provides
