# 21660104 Bracket | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

## 🔧 Product Description

A support bracket used in the separately mounted engine-heater installation of Volvo Penta TWD1643GE generating-set engines.

## 🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

- Volvo Penta TWD1643GE
- Volvo Penta TWD1652GE
- Volvo Penta TWD1653GE

- **Engine Family:** TWD

## ⚙️ Key Features

- TWD1643GE engine-heater application
- Supports heater pipes and rubber hose
- Compatible with 750W and 2000W heater arrangements
- Maintains heater-line alignment under vibration

## 🔌 Function

The bracket secures the engine-heater coolant pipework and prevents vibration from stressing the heater, hoses and sealing joints.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Heater pipes moving or rubbing
- Coolant leakage caused by misalignment

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Offer the bracket up and start every fastener by hand before tightening any of them, so the component is not pulled into a strained position
- Check the mating faces are clean, flat and free of corrosion scale — a bracket that does not sit flat will work loose and let the component move
- Renew self-locking nuts, lock washers, tab washers or thread-locking compound wherever the original assembly used them, and tighten to the figure given in the workshop manual for your engine
- Where the bracket carries a rubber mount or bush, renew that at the same time rather than reusing a perished one
- On brackets in the inlet and exhaust area, never force alignment to make the holes line up — cure the misalignment at its source, or the bracket and the component it holds will both crack
