# 21676083 Upgrade Kit | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

## 🔧 Product Description

A genuine Volvo Penta IPS oil-pump conversion package supplied with the associated clutch-pack components. It updates the applicable IPS upper-gear lubrication and clutch arrangement to the later service specification.

## ⚙️ Key Features

- Genuine Volvo Penta IPS factory upgrade
- Oil-pump conversion and clutch components supplied together
- Designed to implement the later service configuration
- Requires pod disassembly and specialist setup
- IPS generation and serial number must be confirmed
- Engine type: Volvo Penta IPS pod-drive upper gear and clutch system

## 📋 Kit Contents

- 1 x complete IPS oil-pump conversion package - Volvo Penta 21676083
- 1 x matched clutch-pack assembly - supplied within kit 21676083
- Oil-pump conversion hardware, seals and retaining components are supplied under the complete kit number; the public service bulletin does not publish a fixed loose-part breakdown

## 🔌 Function

The kit updates oil delivery to the upper gear and clutch assembly while renewing the matched friction components.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Clutch pack is worn or slipping
- Upper-gear lubrication pressure is inadequate
- Pod is being rebuilt to the later specification
- Existing oil-pump configuration is obsolete

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- This is specifically an oil-pump and clutch-pack upgrade for the IPS upper gear — it requires the pod to be opened, so plan for that labour rather than treating it as a bolt-on kit
- Confirm the IPS generation and drive serial number before ordering; the later specification this kit installs does not fit every earlier pod

## 📦 Condition
