## 🔌 Function

Transfers the designated fluid, air or vacuum signal through the original system route.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Diesel smell around the filter housing, or a wet film on the hose
- Weeping at the crimped end fittings, leaving a drip trail below
- Hard starting, hunting or rough running as air is drawn in through the joint
- Hose swollen, softened or crazed from fuel exposure
- Chafed flat spot where the hose crosses a bracket or another component

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- The assembly is supplied with its end fittings already made up, so it is renewed complete rather than re-hosed
- Check filter housing 21685757 and its seals at the same time, as fuel escaping there is easily blamed on the hose
