# 21865927 Bracket | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

## 🔧 Product Description

A genuine bracket used to support the crankcase-ventilation separator and pipework on Volvo Penta TAD1643VE-B engines.

## 🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

- Volvo Penta TAD1650VE-B/51VE
- Volvo Penta TAD1643VE-B
- Volvo Penta TAD1670-72VE

- **Engine Family:** TAD
- **HP Range:** Approximately 500-800 HP
- **Year Range:** Approximately 2010 - 2021

## ⚙️ Key Features

- Bracket for the crankcase-ventilation separator and its pipework on TAD1643VE-B engines
- 0.624 kg
- Listed for 3 applications in the TAD family
- Carries the separator body and the pipe runs into and out of it

## 🔌 Function

Holds the crankcase-ventilation separator and its pipework in position on the engine, so the pipe runs stay aligned and the separator's weight does not hang on them.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Separator loose or able to be rocked by hand
- Oil mist escaping where a pipe joint has been pulled apart
- Rattle from the separator area that follows engine speed
- Pipe cracked at a bend or at its connection on strip-down
- Bracket cracked or its holes wallowed out

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Check the ventilation pipework for cracks and chafe before refitting - a separator that has been hanging loose usually strains the pipes first
- Bracket 21865984 in the same family carries exhaust heat shielding, not the separator - order by position
