## 🔧 Product Description

Electrical-system support bracket used on selected TAD5 and TAD8 engines to mount control-unit, fuse and harness hardware. It secures electrical components against vibration and keeps cable routing clear of heat and moving parts.

## 🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

- Volvo Penta TAD880-84VE
- Volvo Penta TAD570-72VE
- Volvo Penta TAD570-71VE-B
- Volvo Penta TAD870-73VE

- **Engine Family:** TAD

## ⚙️ Key Features

- Electrical-system support bracket for selected TAD5 and TAD8 engines
- 0.678 kg
- Listed for four TAD series engine applications
- Mounts control-unit, fuse and harness hardware and keeps cable routing clear of heat and moving parts

## 🔌 Function

Holds the control unit, fuse holder and harness in position, taking vibration out of the connectors and keeping the cable runs away from heat and moving parts.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Intermittent faults or warnings that come and go with vibration
- Control unit or fuse holder loose on its mounting
- Chafed or heat-hardened cable insulation where the harness has moved
- Cracks at the bolt holes
- Corroded connector pins found when the loom is stripped

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Re-clip the harness to the bracket exactly as it was routed originally - most electrical faults in this area come from a cable left free to rub
- Check the connectors for green or powdery corrosion while the unit is off the bracket
