- Length and end fittings match the factory fuel-system routing

## 🔌 Function

Carries diesel between two points in the low-pressure supply or return run, flexing with engine movement so the rigid connections are not stressed.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Smell of diesel, or a damp film and drip trail along the hose
- Hard starting or a lumpy idle from air drawn in at a leak
- Fuel weeping at a union or under a clamp band
- Outer cover found cracked, blistered or soft where fuel has soaked in
- Chafe mark where the hose bears on a bracket or a pipe

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Renew the sealing washers and clamps rather than reusing them, and check for leaks with the engine running after fitting
- Route it clear of hot surfaces and secure it at the original clips so it cannot chafe
