# 22032282 Adapter | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

## 🔧 Product Description

Fan-drive adapter measuring 139.4 mm for the ACS pusher-fan cooling package on the Volvo Penta TAD560VE. It establishes the required spacing between fan drive and fan hub so the blades sit correctly within the shroud.

## 🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

- Volvo Penta TAD560VE
- Volvo Penta TAD561VE
- Volvo Penta TAD765VE
- Volvo Penta TAD764VE
- Volvo Penta TAD763VE
- Volvo Penta TAD762VE
- Volvo Penta TAD761VE

- **Engine Family:** TAD

## ⚙️ Key Features

- 139.4 mm adapter length
- ACS pusher-fan application
- TAD560VE cooling-system fitment
- Maintains fan-to-radiator and fan-to-shroud clearance
- Factory mounting and pilot geometry
- Engine type: 4-cylinder turbocharged industrial diesel

## 🔌 Function

Positions and connects the pusher fan to the fan-drive assembly while maintaining the designed blade clearance and alignment.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Fan wobble or a new vibration that rises with engine speed
- Blade tips catching or rubbing the shroud
- Bolt holes worn oval, or fasteners that will not hold torque
- Fretting and bright metal on the adapter's mounting faces
- Visible run-out when the fan is turned by hand against a fixed reference

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- The 139.4 mm length sets where the blades sit in the shroud, so a different adapter length will move the fan out of position - check the length before fitting
- Check the fan drive hub and its bearing before blaming the adapter, and recheck blade-to-shroud clearance after assembly
