## ⚙️ Key Features

- Correct bead engagement for the original clamps
- Maintains clearance from hot and moving components
- Product- and fitment

## 🔌 Function

Carries coolant, charge air or another assigned medium between connected components while accommodating engine movement and vibration.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Coolant loss at either end of the hose, with a dried deposit trail below it
- The hose ballooning under pressure or collapsing when the engine cools
- Rubber gone hard and crazed, or soft and spongy, when squeezed
- Cracks in the bend where the hose has been flexing
- The hose rubbing on the radiator frame, fan ring or a bracket

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Support the hose on its original standoffs so the bend is not being carried by the connections alone
- Renew the clamps with the hose and retorque once the engine has been through a heat cycle
