## 🛠️ Service Notes

- A frame is a structural member — check the surrounding mounts, fasteners and mating faces for corrosion, cracking and elongated holes before refitting
- Offer it up and get everything aligned with the fasteners finger-tight before final tightening, so nothing the frame carries is pulled into strain
- Fit every fastener the frame is designed to take and tighten to the figures in the workshop manual for your engine
- Protect the fitting faces against corrosion where dissimilar metals meet, and refit any rubber mounts, pads or insulating strips
- Recheck the fasteners for tightness after the first period in service, since a frame carries vibration loads continuously
