- Supersedes 21728014
- Maintains dipstick calibration
- Supports dipstick 21062227 in related layouts
- Factory oil-pan and bracket alignment
- Engine type: 6-cylinder turbocharged generator diesel

## 🔌 Function

Guides the dipstick to the correct measuring position in the sump and seals the dipstick entry.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Incorrect oil-level reading
- Loose or cracked tube
- Oil seepage
- Dipstick binds
- Tube movement from failed support

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- It supersedes the earlier guide tube 21728014 - if that number is what appears in the engine's parts history, this is the current number to order
- Confirm dipstick 21062227 is the correct matching dipstick for this tube's calibrated depth before checking oil level; a wrong-length dipstick gives a false reading even with the correct guide tube fitted
