-   Tighten the union or banjo bolts to the figure in the workshop manual for your engine; they thread into injector and pump bodies and are easily stripped or distorted
-   Route the line as it was, without kinks, tight bends or tension, and support it clear of hot and moving parts so it cannot chafe or fatigue
-   Bleed and prime the fuel system as the manual describes, then run the engine and check every joint for weeping and for air being drawn in
