## 🔌 Function

Adapts the new D1 engine's mounting points to the bed the old 2001, 2002 or 2003 sat on, holding it in line with the shaft through the new gearbox.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

-   New engine's feet landing nowhere near the old bed's bolt pattern
-   Engine cannot be aligned to the shaft within the range of the flexible mounts
-   Bracket faces or mounting holes damaged or corroded on an earlier conversion
-   Vibration and noise after a conversion put together from mixed hardware
-   Fasteners from two different kits mixed, so the clamping load is wrong
