## 🔌 Function

The package renews the upper-engine seals disturbed when the cylinder head, injectors, valve gear and associated components are removed.

## 🛠️ Service Notes

-   This is a top-end gasket set, so plan the job around what it implies: cylinder head and manifolds off, the carbon cleaned out, and the valves and seats seen to before anything goes back together
-   Check the kit against every joint you will disturb before you start, and confirm it is the set listed for your engine's build
-   Clean the head and block faces carefully without scoring them, check them for flatness, and check the head for cracks and for valve seat and guide wear while it is off
-   Fit the gaskets dry unless the workshop manual for your engine specifies a sealant at that joint, and fit the head gasket the right way up with the head located properly on its dowels
-   Tighten the head in the sequence, stages and angles given for your engine, and carry out any valve clearance setting and post-run re-torque the manual calls for
