## ⚙️ Key Features

- Switch from the Instruments group
- 0.066 kg

## 🔌 Function

Opens or closes an electrical circuit in response to the condition it monitors, passing that state on to the instrument or control it feeds.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Warning lamp or gauge dead, or lit constantly with nothing wrong
- Reading that comes and goes with vibration or engine movement
- Terminals green, corroded or crumbling
- Contacts found welded or burnt inside on strip-down
- Weeping or damp at the switch body where it is threaded in

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Test the circuit and its earth before condemning the switch - a corroded connector or a poor earth reads exactly like a failed switch
- Bridge the connection briefly to confirm the lamp or gauge itself still works before ordering
