## ⚙️ Key Features

- Terminal box weighing 0.549 kg
- Listed for four applications across EM and EPT units
- Cover 22855374 and lid 22855378 are listed for the same four EM and EPT applications

## 🔌 Function

Houses the common connection point where several circuits are joined and terminated, keeping those connections together, supported and protected.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Intermittent faults on several circuits at once, pointing at the shared connection
- Terminals green, corroded or crusted with salt inside the box
- Discoloured or heat-marked terminals where a loose connection has been arcing
- Water inside the box after wet weather or a wash down
- Cracked case, broken mounting lug or a corroded cable entry

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Isolate the supply before opening it - this is a common connection point for several circuits and not all of them are necessarily fed from the same source
- Check every terminal for tightness and heat marking while it is open; a loose terminal heats, corrodes and then fails intermittently
- Renew the lid seal and check the cable entries, since water getting in is what starts most faults here
