A genuine Volvo Penta matched Type G10 Duoprop set for DPH sterndrives. The nickel-bronze-aluminium pair combines a three-blade front propeller and four-blade rear propeller. ## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

-   Vibration from bent blades or an unmatched pair
-   Corrosion, blade-edge erosion or hub damage
-   Front and rear propellers of different sizes or families are mixed

## 🛠️ Service Notes

-   Stop the engine and isolate the start circuit before working at the propeller, and never rely on gear selection alone to hold the shaft
-   Clean the shaft and the propeller bore, check the splines or taper for damage, and grease the shaft and hub on assembly so the propeller can be removed again next season
-   Fit the parts in the kit in the correct order — thrust washer, propeller, any spacer, then the nut and its locking device — and use the new locking hardware supplied rather than the old pin or tab
-   Tighten the propeller nut to the figure given in the workshop manual for your drive and lock it properly; a nut merely nipped up lets the propeller work on the shaft and ruins the splines
-   After the first run, recheck the nut and its locking device, and investigate any vibration — that normally means a damaged, out-of-balance or mismatched propeller
