## ⚙️ Key Features

- Cover from the Cooling System group
- 11.90 kg
- Listed for 19 applications across TAD and TADH series engines

## 🔌 Function

Encloses part of the cooling package, guiding the airflow the fan moves through the cooler face and keeping hands and debris away from the moving parts.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Cooling temperatures rising because air is spilling round instead of through the cooler
- Drumming, rattle or a fan tip rubbing as the cover distorts
- Cracks or splits around the mounting points
- Cover found dented or bent so the clearance to the fan is uneven
- Fixings found loose or missing on inspection

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Check the clearance to the fan is even all round after fitting - a distorted cover will be caught by the fan tips
- Fit every fixing; the cover is a guard as well as an air seal, so a partly secured one is both a cooling and a safety problem
