Volvo Penta's range of instruments for non-EVC diesel and gasoline engines offers a modern appearance and a high level of readability. The gauges are available in 85 mm and 52 mm and are designed to fit previous instrument panels for Volvo Penta non-EVC engines. Complete instrument panel kits are also available. The main station kit is available in two versions, 12 V and 24 V, and measures 250 x 190 mm. Add a 4000 rpm or 6000 rpm tachometer for a complete installation. This is the 12V version.

## 🔌 Function

Provides the main helm with a complete instrument panel — gauges, alarm display and starter switch — so the engine can be started and watched from the primary control position.

-   Gauges reading zero, sticking or moving erratically
-   Warning lamps not proving on the key-on self check
-   Panel illumination dim, flickering or dead
-   Alarm buzzer silent when a fault is present
-   Corrosion found on the panel connectors or behind the bezel after water ingress

## 🛠️ Service Notes

-   System voltage is the critical detail — this is the 12 V kit with the 8-16 V voltmeter, and the 24 V kit 23577080 carries an 18-32 V voltmeter instead
-   No tachometer is included: add the 4000 rpm or 6000 rpm instrument to complete the installation
-   Check the supply, earth and sender before condemning a gauge — a poor earth behind the panel gives low or wandering readings on several gauges at once
-   A 4000 rpm or 6000 rpm tachometer is ordered separately for a complete installation - it is not part of this panel kit
-   The gauges in this range are designed to fit Volvo Penta instrument panels; where a gauge goes into a panel from outside this range the panel hole diameter may need modifying to suit
-   The tachometer is not included - add a 4000 rpm or 6000 rpm unit
-   Match the system voltage: 23577080 is the 24 V kit
-   Cover plate 858648 covers the tachometer opening where no tachometer is fitted
