# 24410740 Joystick Docking Software, Single Aquamatic, EVC2 | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

## 🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta software licence 24410740 for Electronic Vessel Control 2. The feature puts steering, throttle and gear onto the joystick for a single Aquamatic installation — moving it forward and back works the gear and propeller speed while twisting the knob sets the drive angle, and the boat always turns the way the joystick is turned. Low-speed control is built into the joystick movement: the first part of its travel slips the clutch without raising engine speed. Thruster integration is ordered separately as 24410741. Electronic Vessel Control 2 is the platform Volvo Penta introduced on the D4 and D6 in 2019. Its features are ordered against a vessel system rather than against the engine — the specification covers the engine, the application, the number of drivelines and whether the boat is leisure or commercial — and the ordered features are held in the Vessel Main Module and printed on its box label. Loading the software and finalising the installation is dealer work, done through VODIA.
