# 24594606 Decal | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

## 🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta decal, part number 24594606. It carries the printed identification, rating or warning text that belongs on the machine, and is supplied as a replacement for one that has faded, lifted or been removed during a repair. Fitting the correct decal keeps the machine's own markings readable and complete.

## ⚙️ Key Features

- Genuine Volvo Penta decal
- Self-adhesive replacement for a marking that has become unreadable
- Keeps identification and warning text on the machine after a repair or repaint

## 🔌 Function

Displays the identification, rating or warning text for the assembly it is applied to, so the information stays with the machine.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Faded, chalky or bleached to the point that the text can no longer be read
- Edges lifting, bubbling or peeling away from the panel
- Cracked, torn or partly scraped off, usually after a repair, a rub down or a pressure wash
- Missing altogether, where a warning, capacity or identification decal needs to be present

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Clean and degrease the area before fitting — wax, polish, salt film or oil will stop a decal bonding and it will lift at the edges within a season
- Apply in dry, mild conditions to a surface that is neither cold nor hot to the touch; adhesive will not key properly to a cold or damp panel
- Position it dry first and mark the location, then peel the backing progressively and work the decal down from one side with a squeegee or clean cloth so air is pushed out ahead of it
- Leave it undisturbed to bond before washing the area, and afterwards keep pressure-washer jets away from the edges

## 📦 Condition
