## 🔌 Function

Mounts and locates the charging system component on the engine, carrying its weight and belt load.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Belt squeal, belt dust or a belt running off line
- The mounted unit knocking or moving under belt load
- Bolt holes elongated or spot faces fretted
- Bracket cracked at a bend, a weld or a fixing hole
- Charge output falling away as the belt slips

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Bracket 3586951 is the lighter companion in this group at 0.713 kg with the same nine TAD applications, and it replaces a different number - check which of the two the job needs
- At 3.291 kg this is the main carrying bracket, so use new fixings and tighten to the specified figures
