🔌 Function

  

The turbocharger increases intake-air pressure so the D6 engine can produce its specified torque and horsepower while controlling smoke and exhaust temperature.

  

Common signs of turbocharger failure:

• Slow vessel acceleration

• Low boost pressure

• Excessive black smoke

• Blue exhaust smoke

• Increased engine-oil consumption
