## 🔌 Function

Uses exhaust gas energy to drive a compressor that forces additional air into the cylinders.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Whistling, siren or rasping noise from the turbocharger
- Blue smoke and oil consumption with oil in the inlet tract
- Loss of boost, black smoke and poor pull
- Shaft with radial play, or compressor blades rubbed and tipped
- Oil weeping from the drain or seals

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- At 53.07 kg this needs mechanical lifting and freight handling rather than a normal parcel service
- Find out why the old unit failed first, as oil starvation or ingested debris will destroy the new one as well
