## ⚙️ Key Features

- 2.3 grams
- 38 applications
- DPX series
- Cables and Fuses group

## 🔌 Function

Holds the crimped terminals in alignment where two lengths of the harness meet, keeping the contact firm and dry.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Circuit dropping in and out when the harness is moved
- Powdery green corrosion around the contacts
- Latch or locking tab cracked, so the joint will not stay closed
- Contacts spread or pushed back out of their cavity

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Connector 3855244 carries the identical name, weight and 38 DPX applications - nothing published separates the two, so order by part number against your wiring breakdown
- Renew the seal and any pushed-back terminal at the same time rather than reusing a corroded contact

## 📦 Condition

- Genuine Volvo Penta part
- Brand new
- Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
