# 3856007 Hose | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

## 🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta cooling hose for DPX applications, from the Cooling System group, 0.610 kg and listed for 27 applications. Hoses 3854673 and 3855684 are also listed for 27 DPX applications, so all three have to be ordered by number rather than by fitment count.

## 🚤 Compatibility

- **Engine Family:** DPX

Full model list at the end of this description.

## ⚙️ Key Features

- For the DPX family
- 27 listed applications
- 0.610 kg
- Same 27-application DPX fitment count as hoses 3854673 and 3855684

## 🔌 Function

Carries coolant or raw water between two points in the cooling circuit while allowing for movement and vibration.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Coolant weeping or spraying from the hose or its clips
- Hose gone soft, spongy or swollen when squeezed
- Cracks or crazing near the ends
- Ballooning under pressure when hot
- Temperature rising because flow is restricted by a collapsed hose

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Renew the clips with the hose and check the spigots for corrosion or roughness
- A hose that has softened or hardened is due for renewal even if it is not leaking yet, since a cooling failure at sea is a serious matter

## 📦 Condition
