# 3860374 Hydraulic Hose | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

## 🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta hydraulic hose from the Marine Propulsion group, weighing 0.154 kg and listed for 7 applications on TSK installations. It is the heavier by 13 grams of an otherwise identical pair with 3860373 — same name, same group, same fitment — so the figures published do not separate them and the part number is the only reliable guide.

## 🔌 Function

Carries hydraulic pressure between the pump or valve and its ram, containing full system pressure while flexing as the unit moves.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Oil film, drips or a stained patch at either end fitting
- Steering or trim going soft, slow or losing its hold
- Outer cover cracked, chafed or blistered, or braid showing through
- Hose swollen or ballooning under pressure
- Air drawn in, giving a spongy feel at the helm

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Hydraulic steering and trim hoses are safety related — do not patch a leaking hose, replace it
