## 🔧 Product Description

## ⚙️ Key Features

- Routed to the valve cover
- 21 listed applications in the V series
- 49.9 g
- Same published weight as hose 3862743

## 🔌 Function

Carries crankcase vapour or fluid to or from the valve cover connection, flexing with engine movement.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Oily film or wet trail around the valve cover connection
- Hose gone hard and glazed, or soft and swollen
- Cracking or crazing near the end fittings
- Hose collapsed or blocked, so crankcase pressure builds
- Oil misting or seepage from cover gaskets because the hose is blocked

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Check the hose is clear rather than just intact, as a blocked breather hose pushes oil past the cover gaskets
- Renew the clips with the hose

## 📦 Condition

- Genuine Volvo Penta part
- Brand new
- Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
