## ⚙️ Key Features

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Steering heavy or slow to respond
- Whining or groaning from the pump, worse on lock
- Fluid weeping at the shaft seal or the unions
- Steering fluid low, foamy or discoloured
- Assistance falling away when the engine is loaded

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Steering is a safety-critical system - after fitting, bleed the circuit fully, check hard over to hard over both ways and look for leaks under load before the boat is used
- Flush the circuit and renew the fluid if the old pump failed internally, or debris will destroy the new one
- Only one application is listed against this pump, so confirm the mounting and port arrangement against the unit coming off
