# 3888580 Spacer | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

## 🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta spacer weighing 0.159 kg and listed for 21 applications across D and TAD series engines. It consolidates part numbers 3808186 and 3888581, and 3808186 was catalogued earlier as a spacer plate, so an older parts list may show it under that name.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Component sitting out of line or fouling something next to it
- Spacer crushed, dished or fretted on its faces
- Fasteners working loose because the stack height has changed
- Belt, pulley or pipe misalignment traced back to a missing or wrong spacer
- Corrosion between the spacer and the faces it sits against

## 🛠️ Service Notes
