## 🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta software from the ignition and control systems group, listed for a single application. It carries a published weight of 0.844 kg, which suggests it is supplied as a physical item rather than as a download, so ask us to confirm what you receive and what is needed to load it.

## 🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

- Volvo Penta 8.1GXiI-G

## ⚙️ Key Features

- Ignition and control systems software
- Listed for a single application

## 🔌 Function

Provides the control system program for the engine or installation electronics so the system runs the intended calibration.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Stored fault codes that persist after the wiring and sensors check out sound
- Control functions or features behaving inconsistently
- Instruments or displays showing values that do not match the engine's behaviour
- Units on the network failing to communicate with one another
- Poor running or a warning that returns immediately after being cleared

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Software is matched to a specific control unit and engine build, so confirm the application with us before ordering
- Loading control system software normally needs the correct diagnostic equipment and a stable supply voltage, so plan the job rather than starting it with the boat needed
- Rule out wiring, earths, supply voltage and sensors before treating a fault as a software problem
