# 468924 Exhaust Collector | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

## 🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta exhaust collector from the Inlet and Exhaust System group, weighing 6.728 kg and listed for 7 applications across the TD, TWD and TID series. It is the lighter of the two collectors here - 468925 is the 9.085 kg section - so the weight is the practical way to tell the two apart on a listing.

## ⚙️ Key Features

- 6.728 kg exhaust collector section
- Lighter of the pair with 468925
- 7 applications across the TD, TWD and TID series
- Inlet and Exhaust System group

## 🔌 Function

Gathers the exhaust from its group of cylinder ports and channels it onward to the turbocharger or exhaust outlet.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Exhaust blowing, ticking or puffing at the flange faces
- Visible cracks between ports or across a corner radius
- Flange face warped so a new gasket will not seal
- Soot staining or scorched paint around the joints
- Heavy internal scaling reducing the bore

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Confirm which section you need before ordering - collector 468925 is the heavier 9.085 kg part and the two are not interchangeable
- Renew the flange gaskets and check the studs and nuts while the collector is off
- At 6.728 kg it is a bulky cast item and will usually ship as a freight rather than a letter item
