## 🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta fan hub from the Engine group with an alternative length of 28 mm, weighing 0.636 kg and listed for 33 applications across TWD, TID and TD series engines. The 28 mm alternative length is what distinguishes this hub, so check the length your installation needs before ordering.

## ⚙️ Key Features

- Alternative length 28 mm
- 0.636 kg
- 33 applications across the TWD, TID and TD series
- Engine group
- 620mm / L=28mm (Volvo assembly listing)

## 🔌 Function

Carries the cooling fan and transmits drive to it from the belt pulley, holding the fan in correct alignment.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Rumbling, whining or grinding from the fan drive
- Fan wobbling visibly or standing off true
- Play felt at the fan when the engine is stopped
- Belt wearing rapidly or running to one side of the pulley
- Grease or bearing debris thrown around the hub

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- The 28 mm alternative length changes where the fan sits, so confirm the fan-to-radiator and fan-to-cowl clearances after fitting
- Inspect the fan, belt and pulley alignment at the same time - a failed hub usually takes the belt with it
- Never turn the engine over or check the fan with the guard removed
