## ⚙️ Key Features

- 6 applications on MD series engines

## 🔌 Function

Makes and breaks an electrical circuit on the instrument panel or engine, either on demand or in response to a sensed condition.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Instrument, warning lamp or accessory circuit dead
- Operation intermittent, coming and going with vibration
- Contacts burnt, pitted or welded shut so the circuit never breaks
- Green or white corrosion on the terminals and spade connectors
- Actuator stiff, sticky or not returning

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Prove the supply and the earth at the switch before condemning it, since a poor panel earth gives the same symptoms
- The change from 875813 came with a change of description from contact to switch, so an old parts list may show it under the earlier name
