- 7.23 kg
- 10 applications on TAMD series engines
- Cooling System group
- 1.5 kg heavier than the companion cap 849032

## 🔌 Function

Closes off the end of a cooling assembly, sealing the water space and forming the turn for coolant passing through the core.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Coolant weeping from the joint at the end of the assembly
- Salt or coolant staining building up around the cover
- Cover found corroded, pitted or scaled internally
- Sealing face distorted so the joint will not hold
- Circuit failing a pressure test with no other leak found

## 🛠️ Service Notes
