## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Rust appearing at the top of the clamping ring where the treatment has been missed
- Product separated or thickened in the container
- Contents dried or contaminated in an opened tin
- Coating washed away and not renewed at the last service
- Staining and scale building up around the ring

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Apply at the top of the clamping ring as specified, after cleaning back the existing corrosion rather than over the top of it
- The number it replaces was catalogued as a neutralizing agent, so an older parts list may show it under that name
