# 858423 Attaching Plate | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

## 🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta attaching plate from the Engine group, weighing 0.379 kg and listed for 7 applications. It supersedes 858452. Worth knowing before you order: 858452 is also listed among the numbers consolidated into rubber element 858455, so an enquiry against that old number can return either part - check what the old number actually was on the engine.

## 🔌 Function

Provides the flat mounting face that its component bolts to, spreading the fixing load into the engine structure.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- The mounted component moving or knocking under load
- Cracks radiating from the fixing holes
- Plate distorted or bowed so it no longer sits flat
- Fixing holes elongated and the faces fretted bright

## 🛠️ Service Notes
