# 859363 Bracket | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

## 🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta bracket from the Cooling System group, weighing 0.424 kg and listed for 10 applications on the D series. It supersedes part number 859387 — as does bracket 859095, which covers the same 10 D-series applications at 0.327 kg. The two are different brackets and the old number alone will not tell you which you need, so confirm the installation before ordering.

## 🔌 Function

Carries and locates the heat exchanger on the engine, holding it square to its mountings so the pipework is not loaded.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Heat exchanger able to be rocked or moved on its mountings
- Cracked bracket, usually starting at a bolt hole or a weld
- Hoses chafed or strained where the exchanger has been allowed to move
- Heavy corrosion or scaling in a salt-water installation
- Elongated fixing holes and fasteners that will not stay tight

## 🛠️ Service Notes
